RULES

Welcome to Ravenblack Elysium. Please read these, and we will all get along fabulously. If the rules change, you will be alerted through private messages (pm's) sent through the forum by administrators.

1. Accounts:
One character per account created here at Ravenblack Elysium. This keeps things easier and cleaner for everyone, it also seem to just work better.

2. Respect:
We understand you won't always like everyone or the staff, but there is no reason to ever insult or harass anyone on the board. Those that break this rule will be warned, after the first warning you will be banned.

3. God-modding/Power-playing:
Ravenblack Elysium does not tolerate this at all. You can't kill off a character unless it is prearranged with the player of that character. In saying that, we do understand that vampires, and werewolves will be stronger than a human and accidents do happen to humans. This is why we inform you human players to tread with caution on any of the boards on the site. If you make a human expect that it could get into some trouble and some things could happen to it. Again, no killing unless arranged with both players.

4. Banners/Avatars:
Banners and Avatars are expected and essential. Make sure you pick a face claim (FC) with pictures to help you with this. There will be no nudity tolerated in banners or avatars; please be tactful. We do have some skilled graphic makers on the site that are willing to help (per request and time allotment) with making an avatar or banner. If you have attained a banner from a player on the board, please credit the work to the creator. Please keep Avatars 150 x 200. Banner are not to be over 550 x250. This is to ensure no page gets stretched by them.

5. In-Game Name:
Your In-Game Name (IGN) based off of Vampires! The Dark alleyways grid game should be within your signature area. Please do not add anything extra to your In-Game Name (IGN). Names will be checked and verified by administrators and moderators on a regular basis. This can be in the form of text or in banner work, but please keep the name area clear of any other distractions as to not evade knowing IGS on your character.

6. Posting:
Do not post Out Of Character (OOC) in In-Character threads (IC) and vice versa. For the first offense you will be sent a pm, the second offense you will be warned and the third will cause your character to be banned.

7. Graphic Scenes/Violence:
Please be tactful when posting nudity, sexual references or violent scenes. Not always is there the need to be so 'dramatic' when posting these types of things, but we do understand that these occurrences do happen as they would in the real world. Use your best judgment; this site is for creativity and not writing some cheap smut that can be found on other websites for those over 18.

8. Siring:
Should you be wanting to play a human character looking to be sired as a werewolf or vampire, post in the 'Eternal Kiss' section. All sirings are to be within this board and this board only. Posting a siring thread in another board will cause the staff of the site to pm your account and move it to the proper section of the site.

9. No spamming/Advertising:
It's alright to PM one or two of your friends about a site that you made or you think is cool, but do not mass-PM. Advertising anywhere else will be considered SPAM and will be deleted. Spamming also includes short messages and double-posting, please avoid doing this at all costs.

10. Grid Relevancy:
Since this site is based off of Vampires! The Dark alleyways, things that are said in role play can be settled on the grid, and we do not think badly of it if it happens to be settled this way.

11. C-box:
The chat box is located at the bottom of the site and is In Character. For Out Of Character comments within the box please use brackets or parenthesis. Please refrain from being too graphic within the chat box RavenBlack Elysium has to offer. Also accounts are not to be created just to chat box, we are here to role-play on a board not just chat. You can chat up people and characters on alternative sources such as Y!M, MSN, SKYPE, etc.
